Current technological developments are upending banks' operations and impacting their competitiveness and performance. This study examines the role of three essential FinTech dimensions: Financial Inclusion ( ), Alternative Payment Methods ( ), and Automation ( ), in shaping the performance and competitiveness of Saudi banks. It proposes that these dimensions can significantly improve banking outcomes.
The study employs multiple regression analysis to analyze data collected from 381 employees across Saudi banks.
The findings confirmed that FinTech dimensions positively and significantly impact the performance and competitiveness of Saudi banks. The study highlighted the need to expand FinTech integration while addressing challenges such as security, privacy, and resistance to technological changes.
This study enriches the literature by bridging research gaps and advancing the discourse on the relationship between FinTech and banking outcomes. Additionally, it provides practical guidance for bank managers in developing tailored FinTech strategies to enhance performance and competitiveness.
